1-0 To EasyJet as Ryanair is Named Worst Family Brand

Ryanair was this week named and shamed as the worst “family brand” in a brand survey that compared some of the UK’s biggest and best-known companies.
According to a poll by FamilyBrands, the Irish airline is doing its best to ignore family values and is not seen to care or listen to customers.
The airline lagged way behind British household names like Boots, Cadbury, Kellogs and overall winner Marks & Spencer as it trailed into last place in the poll.
You can’t help but assume that the reason Ryanair finished so badly probably has something to do with their hidden costs and extra charges. How can they expect families to fly with just carry-on luggage? Then there’s stress of first-come, first serve seating arrangements. What happens when your kids get all split up?
Meanwhile EasyJet today announced details of three new routes from the UK as part of its ongoing expansion plans.
From March, Ryanair will begin flights from Stansted to Calgiari, with flights starting at £28.99, while twice-weekly flights from Liverpool to Malta will begin June 13th from £28.99 one way.
There will be four flights a week from Manchester to Helsinki from March 28th with rates starting at £28.99.
