Advice for Booking Car Hire Online

Argus Car Hire strives to make online car rental as simple as possible for customers.  As with any online booking system, a brief lapse in concentration can cost you dearly however-one tiny typo and you could end up paying more than double the amount you intended! 

Of course, you can amend your details if you’ve made a mistake somewhere along the way.

If you need to make changes to your booking, you must contact Argus Car Hire’s customer support centre, clearly informing the representative of the exact details of the changes required. 

Argus Car Hire has a policy that cancellations of bookings must be made a minimum of 48 hours before the vehicle is due to be picked up.  Cancellation of a booking must be made by telephone only.  Our call center can be reached by dialling: +353 (0) 1 499 9611.

Customers who cancel at least 48 hours before pick-up will receive a full refund on the price of their rental.  However they are charged a cancellation/handling fee of €25 and a non-refundable Administration Charge (card processing fee). 

Customers who cancel their booking less than 48 hours before pick-up will not be eligible for a refund, unless the total rental amount has been prepaid.  3 days rental costs and service fees will also be debited.
