Argus Car Hire Branches Out

Argus Car Hire has given the green light to a new environmental initiative whereby a tree will be planted for every 100 reservations made through the company’s reservation system.

Entitled ‘Worldwide 100’, the campaign is being launched in conjunction with the Curlew Trust, a charity that enables biodiversity through the planting of 18,000 hardwood trees and the reintroduction of The Golden Eagle, Red Kite and White-Tailed Eagle into all extinct areas.

Argus Car Hire predicts that it will plant enough oak trees throughout 2008 to fill an area the size of Giants Stadium.  The company also pledges its commitment to continually improve work practices to be more environmentally friendly.
