BA Humbug: British Airlines Cut Christmas Seats
It looks as if Ebenezer Scrooge is alive and well and living amongst the bigwigs of the airline industry.Â
Flight information company OAG has just revealed that global carriers are to axe 60m seats in the run-up to Christmas.Â
International airlines are blaming high oil prices and the economic downturn on their decision to cut festive services.Â
Ryanair, easyJet and British Airways have already announced reduced services over the coming months.Â
We know it’s August but it might be worth booking those Christmas flights now-get in there early with the car hire too and avoid a lonely Christmas!
