Millions of Argus Car Hire customers flying out of British airports will be fingerprinted for the first time from next year under the latest anti-terrorism plans.

The measures will apply to both domestic and international passengers.  They are due to be introduced despite opposition from the Information Commisioner, Britain’s privacy watchdog.

The new changes to security require fingerprints to be scanned when passengers reach security from the airside terminal.  Passengers will be finger-print scanned again at their departure gate.
