Shame on you, if like 15% of British people you’ve never been on holiday abroad. According to a new study by Sainsbury Insurance, 6.96 million Brits have only ever taken their holidays on home shores and this trend rises with age, with 21% of the 65+ market admitting to being homebirds. It’s all very well saying you’re enjoying the great British summer but why weather the storm (summer anyone?) at home when you could be enjoying glorious sunshine in any number of exciting destinations?Â
