You’ll never need to miss your local news or favourite soap while abroad again! Avis Budget, the rental car company and US telecommunications specialist AT&T are teaming up in a collaborative effort that will see satellite television being offered as an option to car rental customers in the US in the future.
The AT&T satellite TV service is called Cruisecast and is being launched at the end of March.  The service will offer 22 satellite television channels and 20 radio channels.

The companies look set to bring the service to a large audience.  Already some Avis and Budget car rental locations in the US are advertising the service at $8.99 a day.
