In order to hire a car in Alicante Airport, you will need the following:

A full driving licence

A passport

A credit card (with the same name as your driver’s licence)

Your car rental booking confirmation voucher

You should also be 21 years old or over, but minimum age requirements generally depend on the individual supplier that you’re renting from (some suppliers will only rent to drivers over 25).  This information will be contained within your terms and conditions.

Special equipment such as child seats, GPS and ski racks (probably not essential in Alicante), should be reserved before picking up your rental car to ensure availability. This can be carried out at the booking stage.

Special equipment should be paid for when you arrive at the airport to pick up your rental car.

Once you have signed your rental agreement in the airport, you will be directed to your vehicle outside.  Make a note/photograph any damage you may notice before leaving the airport.
