Cannes Opens with Jack Black and 40 Panda Bears
Yes the 61st Cannes Film Festival kicked off with Jack Black arriving with 40 people (without sweat glands I take it) dressed as Pandas arriving by boat onto the South of France resort to promote his latest film.
Kung Fu Panda is an animated film in which Jack lends his voice to the lead character Po - after delighting the crowd with his antics and autograph signing abilities he then announced to waiting press “Together we will create an international panda sensation”
Now I know PR is a serious tool to any marketer but surely arriving by boat with 40 people dressed as Pandas has to win a prize for originality.
Now where can I find 40 volunteers, 40 costumes and a rental car big enough?
