The following query was sent into us by a customer called Margaret:

I’ve booked a car for my husband and myself for Malaga Airport, which we’re due to pick up on July 22nd.  When I booked I used my own credit card and volunteered myself as lead driver.
But now I’m thinking I don’t want to be doing all the driving.  Can I get my husband added as an additional driver?  I’ve already booked- is it too late to change?

Hi Margaret,

No, there’s no problem at all in adding your husband as an additional driver.  Just make sure he’s with you at the rental counter when you’re picking up the car and has his driver’s licence with him.  The agent will get him to sign the rental agreement as an additional driver.  Hope this helps answer your question.
