Continental Launches Heathrow Flights

Posted on January 30, 2008 by Fiona Hilliard

Heathrow Airport passengers will benefit from the first of what many hope to be a surge in transatlantic flights when Continental Airlines starts flights from London Heathrow and New York Newark and Houston from March 29 2008.

As a result of the recent US-EU Open Skies Agreement, New York flights will operate daily using 283-seat 777-200s, while Houston services use a 174-seat 767-200ER.  The airline will continue to offer flights twice daily from Gatwick to New York and daily to Houston, as well as seasonal daily flights to Cleveland.
