Get your skates on for winter fun.  EasyJet has just announced that it is to serve Salzburg from Gatwick this winter in an effort to build up its flight network.

The new Austrian route is set to be the budget carrier’s 50th served from the airport over the coming winter season.

The service will operate three times a week from December 13 with prices starting at £32.99 (€42) one way.

EasyJet has also announced that it will serve Geneva, Innsbruck, Lyon and Sofia as part of its winter timetable from Gatwick.

That’s the flights sorted but what do you plan to do when you get there?  Ski? Climb every mountain?  Argus Ski and Argus Car Hire have got your ski holiday 2008/2009 sorted!
