Posted on July 25, 2008 by Fiona Hilliard
Car Hire Spain customers are about to lose two of the cheapest routes in Spain as budget carrier EasyJet has just announced that it is binning two of its routes, Valencia and Almeria due to rising oil prices.
The Luton-based no-frills carrier will be cutting a total of 12 percent of its operations at London Stansted Airport.
Already the company expects annual pre-tax profits to fall by as much as 45%.
EasyJet is the latest in a long line of airlines cutting routes this year. In recent weeks, Qantas, China Airlines, Delta, Spanair and Norwegian Air have cut their routes.
