Holidaymakers may be leaving Spain in their droves this September, but the party is only just getting started for the locals in towns and cities all over Spain.
This week citizens of the beautiful city of Ronda are kicking up their heels in style in celebration of the Feria Goyesca de Pedro Romero. The annual event takes place during the first week of September in the Real Maestranza Bull Ring. Those who make it into town early enough will catch a colourful display of horse-drawn carriages and pageantry with the locals dressed in elaborate 18th century Goyaesque costumes. The town of Ronda can be easily reached with Alicante car hire.
All this week Argus Car Hire is offering Alicante car hire from just €15 per day.
Meanwhile, the villagers of Sant Sadurní d’Anoia are celebrating their best-known export, Cava. Cava Week is dedicated to Catalan champagne with a range of delicious gastronomic events and concerts. Scenic drives through the Penedes wine growing region, to the south of Barcelona are the perfect way to get into the spirit of fiesta fun.
