Fill Up Your Rental Car with Bargains this Christmas

The pound plummeted to a new low against the euro and a six year low against the dollar last week, forcing those planning a Christmas shopping spree in America and Europe to re-think bulk-buying plans.
All is not lost however. A new shopping guide which compares the prices of popular gifts in different countries has revealed that bargains are still to be had for those who search hard enough.
Anyone thinking about a pre-Christmas trip to the Big Apple will find that the city still remains cheaper, despite the current economic situation.
The shopping study, produced by Post office travel services has found that the price of 10 of the UK’s top Christmas presents, including an Apple iPod Nano, sunglasses and jeans remains £175 cheaper in New York.
However, the study shows that there’s no need to cross the pond to find similar deals.
They compared the price of 10 typical tourist buys such as a cup of coffee, a beer and suncream and found Hungary offered the best savings.
Totalling under £37 for the 10 products, prices in Hungary were found to be half those in France and Estonia, while the bill in Prague came to just £41.52 for the same items.

Sounds good. For this Christmas I and my girlfriend made a plan to experience a ferry travel to France and we booked ticket too. Waiting for the time to come.
