Paper Cuts for Car Hire Customers
In a bid to keep up with an increasingly paperless travel industry, Europcar and Sabre have just announced the introduction of an e-voucher for car rental customers.
The evoucher works along the same lines as electronic ticketing for airlines. Europcar says the move is part of its drive towards a paperless programme but also makes life a lot simpler for the renter, who simply needs to present his or her driving licence at the rental counter.
The voucher can be used in 160 countries where Europcar offers rental cars.
