When renting a car in Pula, you should know that the best and easiest place to pick up your rental car is in Pula Airport. Pula Airport is situated just 5km to the North east of the city of Pula, on the southeast end of the Istrian Peninsula in Croatia.

Pula is famous for its historic seaside sights, many of which are easily accessible with Pula car hire.

The Pula Riviera comprises both rocky and pebble beaches as well as purpose-built concrete terraces where you can sun yourself while looking out onto the deep turquoise waters of the Adriatic.  The region’s finest beaches are easy to remember thanks to their unusual names that include Punta Verudela, Banjole, Premantura and Fazana.

Prefer golden sand? Check out Bijeca Beach in Medulin, where you’ll find an expansive 1km stretch of beach.
Outdoorsy types will enjoy taking part in a range of watersports including windsurfing, kayaking and snorkelling.  All of these activities can be organised locally.

Bored with the beach?

Hop in your Pula car hire and explore Pula’s famous Roman Amphitheatre (Flavijevska).  Not only is the theatre a living museum, it also retains its important role as music venue for visiting performers.  The town’s crumbling Roman walls, the impressive Triumphal Arch of Sergius, the Temple of Augustus and the Archaeological Museum in Carrarina 3 are other spectacular reminders of the city’s ancient heritage.

The scenic surroundings of Brijuni National Park makes for another wonderful day trip destination.  Must-sees include the remains of the Byzantine castle and the safari park.
