Bad news for UK passengers who pick up their UK car hire with their budget flight. Low fares carrier Ryanair has just announced that it is to axe daily flights to East Midlands and Glasgow Prestwick airports from Cork at the end of October.
The decision to cut flights has been blamed on increased charges levied by Cork Airport.
East Midlands and Glasgow Airport passengers are the latest to be affected by Ryanair as the industry struggles to come to terms with the rising price of aviation fuel.
