This Xmas, GPS is getting its ghetto on.

TomToms, the leading light in GPS technology has recruited the dulcet tones of hiphop ‘Dogfather’ Snoop Dogg to help you navigate your way around the ‘hood.

Snoop Dogg is the latest celebrity to lend his voice to TomTom’s VoiceSkin series.

Already, Homer Simpson has been shepherding lost drivers everywhere with phrases like: “Take the third right. We might find an ice-cream truck. Mmmm…ice cream”, but now drivers can look forward to following orders through the funkilicious “Snoop Speak”.

Not familiar with “Snoop Speak”? See how you fare with the following: “Take tha third left, and while you’re at it, put in some of that Snoop Dogg!”, not to mention: “Turn around when possible and keep it ‘G’, ya D- I – G ?” Also listen out for: “Keep left and you’ll be bonafide”, delivered like only Snoop can.

Not only will Snoop help you get to your destination with ease, he’ll also show his appreciation most eloquently, with lines like ”Thanks for the ride mayne. I had the time of my life! Ooooweeeee!!!”. Sure to bring a smile to the faces of those taking a good old fashioned drive through the UK countryside.
