Spain is Top Bank Holiday Hot Spot

Spain is the destination of choice for British travellers looking for sunnier climes over the June bank holiday weekend, according to the latest statistics from The Association of British Travel Agents.
ABTA predicts that 1.9 million tourists will leave the country over the weekend which also coincides with half-term school holidays in the UK.
High levels will be leaving the South East with 390,000 from Heathrow, 240,000, Gatwick, 150,000 from Stansted and 70,000 from Luton.
Spain has long been the favourite holiday destination for British travellers. These days, the Canaries and Balearic Islands are leading the way. Also breaking through to the top ten are: Italy, Turkey, Greece and Egypt.
The top five city break destinations are Paris, Amsterdam, Dublin, Rome and New York.
