Three Days to Secure Christmas Car Hire
Posted on December 11, 2009 by Fiona Hilliard
Car rental suppliers around the world are coming under increased pressure to provide rental cars to customers looking to book in the Canary Islands and South Africa this Christmas.
As a result, agencies are urging customers who need to rent a car in these countries to book by December 14th 2009 (that’s MONDAY!). Customers who try to book after this date may be disappointed to find little or no availability for cars in the last week of December/first week of January.
Afterall, who wouldn’t dream of Christmas somewhere warm and sunny?
On Christmas day, temperatures in South Africa will be hovering around the 21C mark. If you’re travelling to Cape Town, you can expect to enjoy your turkey and mince pies outside in the garden or you might even be invited to a braais (barbeque) on the beach. Other popular dishes include suckling pig and yellow rice with raisins.
In the Canary Islands, many of the British bars and restaurants will be putting on a special Christmas lunch menu, so that you can enjoy a ‘home from home’ experience. The only difference is the sun will be shining.
