TripAdvisor Survey Provides Few Shocks
Posted on May 05, 2009 by Fiona Hilliard
So Dublin is the friendliest city, London is the dirtiest, Parisians are the best dressed in Europe…tell us something we don’t know!
The latest findings from TripAdvisor might as well have been torn straight from the pages of The Big Book of World Clichés. I mean Brussels the ‘most boring’ city in Europe, Venice the ‘most romantic’, come on, it’s hardly groundbreaking stuff.
What is refreshing to see is the Eastern European capitals holding their own against tourism heavy-weights such as Rome and Athens.
Prague was voted best ‘bargain city’, while the Polish city of Krakow was considered to be the most under-rated.
A new category has also crept into this year’s survey- “Worst Dressed”. Apparently Londoners, Dubliners and Muscovites are complete fashion victims. I mean, how did they measure that one?
Number of non-athletes wearing tracksuits?
Fake-tan intensity?
What do you think? We’d love to hear your comments on this one.

Am surprised at the worst dressed results? Obvisouly weren’t looking in the right places that day!

I bet their opinions were based on the sorts you see in Temple Bar on a Saturday night-tarring us all with the one brush is not a good thing!
